The BCHF 'White Rose Project'
Based in London, the British-Cuban Heritage Foundation (BCHF) exists to protect and promote British art in Cuba and Cuban art in Great Britain, ensuring that their past is researched and preserved, their present fully supported and their future secured.

The principal objectives of the Foundation are:
1) Generate and develop relationships in the arts between the people of Great Britain and those of Cuba, thus promoting understanding and friendship between the two countries.

2) Cultivate knowledge and appreciation of the rich cultural heritage created by British and Cuban artists by offering a forum for all United Kingdom residents interested in Cuban art and for all Cuban residents interested in British art.

3) Raise funds from various sources and activities in order to support charitable projects focused on the arts.

The Foundation is committed to preserving all manifestations of the arts and historical documents by fostering a climate of collaboration with the people and institutions where those testimonials are found, while also supporting a working partnership between British and Cuban artists.

The Foundation, which has been active since May 2007, achieves its goals through the organisation of events of an artistic nature mainly in London, thereby giving people in the United Kingdom a better understanding of what Cuba and its people are really like. It also serves as a point of contact for many British people who have at any time had links with Cuba or who seek to work in partnership with Cuba. The Foundation is non-political and sets out to achieve maximum harmony between Cuba and Great Britain, irrespective of the politics that exist in, or between, either country.
